The Patterns We Keep Repeating
There is something powerful about paying attention to patterns. Not everything that happens in our lives is a coincidence. Sometimes, what we call bad luck is actually a pattern we have not yet recognized. Sometimes, the same kind of person keeps appearing in different faces. The same disappointment comes wrapped in a different story. The same emotional wound gets reopened in a different relationship. And until we stop and look closely, we may keep asking, “Why does this always happen to me?” Patterns are often subtle. They don’t always announce themselves. They reveal themselves through repetition. You may notice that you keep choosing people who make you question your worth. You may notice that you keep abandoning yourself to keep others comfortable. You may notice that you keep postponing the things that matter to you because you are waiting for the perfect time.
